Namaste Yogi,
You cannot help but notice the lighter mornings and evenings can you? I love this time of year as we come out of the darkness and into the light, but I also find this surge in new energy quite overwhelming.

As we approach the Spring equinox this is a good time to consider how we go about creating a balanced life. Our yoga practice teaches us to balance tension and relaxation. Our challenge is, how do we unify these complimentary opposites to achieve a state of balance in our lives.
Many of us are drawn to yoga initially hoping that it will help still our restless and agitated mind.  With the changes and surge in energy that spring brings, some of us find our minds speed up too, which can leave us feeling unbalanced, anxious and overwhelmed.  I am definitely in this camp!
This is why I wanted to theme my monthly class at Wannock village hall on bringing balance to our yin & yang, bringing balance between light and dark, bringing balance between activity and rest.

My next date at Wannock village hall is Saturday 25th March.
These monthly classes are a nice addition to your regular classes, which may only be an hour long.
This month’s theme will be on practicing with your Yin and Yang energies. Working with opposites and noticing your pushing side as opposed to your passive side.
As always there will be a hot drink and healthy snacks at the end of your practice if you’d like to stay on for a chat.
