🌞 Let’s get outside! 🌞

The physical body is not only a temple for our soul, but the means by which we embark on the inward journey towards the core – BKS Iyengar

Namaste Yogi,
Isn’t nature such a wonderful place to be?  Everyday I immerse myself with nature whether in the woods, on the Downs, or swimming in the sea (not quite as often!) I find this is when I’m most at peace and where I can meditate, be it walking or sitting. Have you ever taken your shoes off and just walked with the grass between your toes?  It’s such a different experience to having your feet in shoes. Next time you’re outside give it a try!
The last month I have enjoyed practicing outside in the park with my lovely teacher Felicity.  We have had some challenging times in which we’ve really had to focus on ourselves to allow the external distractions to fade into the background but, we’ve also had some fun times! My most memorable was lying in a peaceful savasana, immersed in the long grass, gazing up to the beautiful blue sky when I felt a peck on my finger!  I looked at what had pecked me it was three very curious ducks. I guess my fingers looked tasty!
I’ve not taught outside since lockdown and thought it was time I started again. So I will be taking a break from my monthly Wannock Village classes & taking it outside. I will be holding a monthly pop up class in August and September and then back to Wannock Village hall on 21st October.

Look out for my next newsletter where I will confirm these dates & locations.

I have a few places available in both of my classes at Sjaan’s Dance Academy in Hailsham.

Mondays 10.30-11.30am – Foundational Yoga (suitable for all)

Fridays 9.30 – 10.10am – Yoga for Healthy Ageing (Suitable for beginners or those who may have limitations in mobility)

Why don’t you come along and try your 1st class for FREE?

I have just one thing to ask of you, could you please take a few minutes of your time and give me a review on my Google business page.  All you need to do is click on the link below. Simple as that!

With Love and gratitude
